Rob Sixsmith began his career on the cutting edge and controversial Irish magazine - Mongrel. With a multitude of articles on foreign affairs and politics he helped establish the tone of the critically acclaimed publication. He has written and produced for MTV, IWC Media, RDF Media, Raw Television and Darlow Smithson.  He has worked for the United Nations and as a frontline journalist in the Middle East for The Telegraph and NPR. In the last few years he has Series Produced vastly popular shows for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel - leading teams into hostile environments around the world. His first novel - a thriller based in revolution Syria - is called A Man of Parts and is represented by Jim Gill at Universal Agents. His first photojournalism book on Iraqi refugees garnered positive reviews and is now available as an ebook.
