UAFMEDIA understand that traditional television development is arduous and can have the effect of killing creativity. Our development slate is eclectic and vast - covering journalism and factual entertainment all the way through to drama.

All of these ideas come from real life. Our dramas are gritty thrillers ranging from police procedurals through to spy adventures.

We are presently developing up an adventure series for National Geographic (alongside our collaborators at NERD) and have ideas on the go for a number of American cable channels and British terrestrials. Series ideas have recently been placed with History and National Geographic as well as organisations such as Vice.

We are selective with our concepts choosing to work with the right commissioners at the right time. This approach has meant we've never pitched an idea that hasn't either gone through to funded development or had the channel team asking for more ideas.

We've had some near misses - the project that was given pilot money to completely redesign Channel 4's daytime slots only to see the commissioner move to a competing channel the next day. But we take from these experiences a scientific understanding of the development process which serves to perfectly underpin the diverse palate of uafmedia ideas.

For an idea of the quality of the taster tapes you can expect from UAFMEDIA the film below was a development for a London charity as part of a pitch for a wider MTV series.
